Home is Rural Warwickshire
A client relocating the family home from Southampton to Warwickshire due to promotion at work. We were asked to find a character country home in a great village with 40min of Redditch. We new the house they would like, but it wasn't on the market, We approached the vendors to see if they would be interested in selling their home. We came up trumps and our clients moved in 5 weeks later.
Young Family on the Up!
A young self employed carpet fitter and his family living in Dudley, with a 3 bedroom detached home looking to move to Shropshire. Excellent primary schools were the prime detail of the brief. 3 good equal sized bedrooms and separate lounge, dining room and kitchen leading off from a central hall. Ideally a small manageable garden and a double garage. We found a 4 bedroom modern detached home within walking distance of an excellent primary school and a local school bus service to two good secondary schools in the local market town of Bridgnorth.
Anyone for Tennis?
A young family living in Solihull having to relocate nearer to Manchester for work commitments. They lived in a modern 5-bedroom detached house with all mod cons. Their brief was a 5-bedroom house with character, with at least 4 acres of land for possible nursery garden at a later stage and near to family in Shrewsbury. We found a Georgian rectory with a state of the art new kitchen and 7 bedrooms, ideal to convert 2 bedrooms into bathrooms. Except for the kitchen the rest of the rooms required re-decoration. There was also 6 acres of land, including an existing wall garden. The children loved the tennis court and mom loved the sash windows. The family moved near to Whitchurch, with access to both Manchester and Shrewsbury.
Tree top relocation
Young professional couple looking to relocate from London, nearer to relatives in Shropshire. They wanted to start a family and were looking for a 4-bedroom cottage in a rural location, with access to great restaurants and good schools. Our couple were also tall and finding a cottage with high ceilings wasn’t easy. Also in the brief our couple wanted a tree in the garden with potential to be turned into a tree house. We found the property with a choice of several trees and a good ceiling height. The couple relocated near to Ludlow, which has a reputation for good restaurants.

Frustrated PA calls for help
We were approached by a frustrated PA from large pottery company to help their new CEO relocate himself and his new wife into Cheshire/Shropshire, within one hours commute of Barlaston. The search was in two parts a family home, and a short term rental. After an enormous search we found a incredible grade 2 listed Tudor property, with huge potential for a return, after numerous meetings with builders and conservation officers we secured the purchase. Our client unfortunately had to withdraw, due to personal reasons, and asked us to turn our efforts to a short term rental, with the ability of extending the term. We found and secured a great Georgian property in the centre Tarporley, an incredible lively town south of Chester.
Peacefull, Quiet Country Life
We were approached by a couple who wanted to relocate from a village near Milton Keynes back upto Shropshire, where she had fond memories of her childhood. They wanted peace and quite, no neighbours, a nice friendly community. After 3 weeks we found it. A fantastic isolated country house that needed some work, set in 1.25 acres overlooking the surrounding countryside. Close to St Michaels and Tenbury Wells with great tea-rooms, local shops and an active local community.
Swapping a Gold Watch for the Golden Valley
A retiring couple, who are keen walkers, were looking to leave their big Victorian family home near Shrewsbury to set up a bed and breakfast in Wales. The brief for their relocation included at least 6 en-suite bedrooms, 2 lounges and separate living accommodation for the couple. Initially the couple were keen on Snowdonia, but after several orientation tours and viewings the brief changed to the area of the Wye Valley and included the need for a reasonably sized garden. We found an existing bed and breakfast not yet on the open market, with 7 en suite bedrooms, potential for 2 lounges and with a separate annex, which the couple are now considering turning into a holiday let.
Restaurateur grows his own!
A young family running a busy restaurant in the heart of Wolverhampton wanted to relocate to a rural setting within commuting distance of Wolverhampton with a five-bedroom barn conversion including a paddock and good local schools. A new barn conversion with a paddock and 2 acres of land were found. There was also a small village school, with a good Ofsted report, just down the lane. The family relocated to Shropshire.
